16 October 2013 - Horseback Rider Injured in the Porcupine Creek Area

Eight members of the team responded to a call for an injured women thrown from her horse in the Porcupine Creek area. The team used various all terrain vehicles to reach the women who was with a group of riders. The women's pain and the mechanism of injury lead the team to suspect a fractured upper arm and possible back injuries. She and her arm were immobilized for her transport out of the area to the trail head where the team transferred her care to the waiting ambulance.
